Mona Lisa Taylor McMillan "Woodward"

September 21, 1978 - October 24, 2021

Mona Lisa Taylor McMillan "Woodward", age 43 and a resident of Pine, passed away Sunday night October 24, 2021 at Tulane Medical Center in New Orleans after a brief illness. She was a Class of 1996 graduate of Pine High School and later served as a manager for American Cash Advance, working at locations throughout the area. She enjoyed going to the beach, visiting the casino and playing games on her phone. Mona loved spending time with her family and grandchildren and she was ecstatic about the upcoming birth of her new granddaughter.

Survived by: Daughters: Taylor Branch, Kyra McMillan and Drake Barber all of Pine; Granddaughter: Lyliana McMillan; Expected Granddaughter: Kinsli Barber; Mother: Charlotte Brumfield Taylor of Pine; Special Niece: MaKinley Davis; Half-siblings: Brandon Creel of Franklinton, Stacey Taylor of Covington; Companion: Danny Woodward; Also numerous other nieces, nephews, family members and many special friends.

She was preceded in death by her father Sidney Taylor, sister Kisha Ann Taylor Davis, half-sister Shea Seals and husbands Shane Caves, Kyle McMillan.

Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home Sunday October 31st from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 2:00 pm Sunday with Rev. Scottie Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in the Crain’s Creek Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.
