Additional Arrests in Attack of Covington Teacher

On Friday (October 8, 2021), Detectives from the Covington Police Department secured arrest warrants for two additional persons who videoed the attack on the Covington High School teacher. Click here for the previous story.

Both subjects, one being a juvenile and the other 18-year-old Trinity Gervais, turned themselves in to the Covington Police Department. The juvenile suspect was released on a custodial agreement and Gervais was issued a misdemeanor summons. Both suspects were charged with Unlawful Posting Of Criminal Activity For Notoriety and Publicity (Misdemeanor).

The Covington Police Department wants this incident to serve as a reminder to our youth that even videoing illegal activities can land you criminal charges.
