Larry Sheridan

May 10, 1951 - August 14, 2021

Larry Sheridan is the second of ten children born to the late Ezekiel and Lela Rayford Sheridan on May 10,1951.

Larry joined Live Ok United Methodist Church at an early age. He was baptized in 1990 by Rev. Bruce L. Brown. He remained an active member until his death. Larry faithfully served in the administrative board, the associate Lay leader and Sunday School Superintendent, as a Trustee, class leader of class #2 and teacher of the adult Sunday School class (which was his most cherished position). He also served on the building fund and finance committees.

Larry was also a proud member of the Wesley Ray Male Chorus. The chorus members referred to him as “Chief”

He attended Sullivan Vo-Tech and received a certification in auto mechanics. He worked at the multiwall division of crown Zellerbach. He also worked as an auto Mechanic in Pine, LA and as a forklift operator at Joe N. Miles and Sons.

He was preceded in death by four sisters, Brenda Sheridan, Lenda Sheridan, Doretha Sheridan and Arletha Sheridan.

Larry leaves to cherish his precious and priceless memories; his dog and bodyguard, Midnight; three godchildren, Shean Sheridan, Jaiekia Bell and Amber Sheridan; sister, Ethel Williams of Sterlington, Louisiana and brothers, James Sheridan of Waggaman, Louisiana, Alexander Sheridan (Linda Sue) of Angie, Louisiana, Charles Sheridan of Bogalusa, Louisiana, and Dewitt Sheridan (Tammy) of Lafayette, Louisiana. His memory will also be cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends, and his church family.

Drive through viewing will be Friday, August 27, 2021 at Crain and Sons Funeral Home from 4:00pm – 6:00pm.

Funeral service will be Saturday, August 28, 2021 at Crain and Sons Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00am. Crain and Sons Funeral Home of Bogalusa, LA are in charge of arrangements.
