Branden Lane Knight

October 10, 1988 - July 3, 2021

Branden Lane Knight, age 32 and a resident of Thomas, died Saturday morning July 3, 2021 at his home. He was a 2008 graduate of Pine High School that loved riding ATVs and dirt bikes. He competed at and was very successful in dirt bike races at tracks all around the southeastern United States. He owned and operated Lane’s Chicken and Seafood in Franklinton, alongside his father, for several years. Branden liked customized and fast cars and listening to his favorite music.

Survived by: Mother: Stacey Bond Knight; Sister: Harlee Knight; Grandparents: John and Freddie Knight, Sammy and Diane Bond; Uncles and an Aunt: Landon Knight, Angela and Michael Kinkopf; Cousins: Joey Miller, Ansley Kinkopf, Jayden Kinkopf, Kaleb Kinkopf; Also many special friends

He was preceded in death by his father John Lane Knight, infant brother Jagger Knight, great-grandparents Fleet and Dixie Haley, Wilton and Evie Knight, Dalton, Sr. and Peggy Bond, Earl and Pat Boulware.

Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home Sunday July 11th from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 1:00 pm Sunday with Rev. Eric Williams and Rev. Tommy Graves officiating. Burial will follow in the Fleet and Dixie Haley Family Cemetery.
