John Aaron McCLendon
April 22, 1990 - June 5, 2021
John Aaron McClendon, age 31 and a resident of Mount Hermon passed away Saturday night June 5, 2021 at his parent’s home surrounded by family. He worked for years as a cook at several restaurants in the area and he enjoyed styling and cutting the hair of his friends and family. John had a special place in his heart for his pet dog Shadow.
Survived by: Parents: Archie McClendon, Sr. and Debbie Bennett McClendon of Magnolia, MS; Brother and Sister in law: Archie McClendon, Jr. and Jennifer McClendon of Mt. Hermon; Sisters and a Brother in law: Donna Fortenberry of Mt. Hermon, Amber and Raymond Wood of Florida; Nephews and Nieces: Archie, III, Kade, Jazlyn, Ariel, Joshua, Destini, Shawn, Webster, Phillip, Carolynn; Aunts and Uncles: Jackie Stone, Geraldine Ledet, Ruby Bates, Diane Morris, Johnny McClendon, Eugene McClendon, Darlene Bennett, Dewayne Bennett; Mimi Shirley Simmons; Special Lifelong Friend: Jenny Cerigny
He was preceded in death by grandparents John and Alice McClendon, Aaron “Buster” and Viola Bennett, aunt Donna Faye Bennett, uncles Michael McClendon, Ronnie Bateman.
Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home Tuesday June 8th from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 7:00 pm Tuesday with Bro. Jacob Gros officiating.
