Narcotics Detectives Arrest Franklinton Woman

Franklinton resident Kimberly Nichols Tarvin, age 51, was arrested Tuesday (June 15, 2021) by detectives with the Washington Parish Sheriff’s Office Drug Task Force on Highway 10 east of Franklinton. Tarvin was in possession of illegal drugs and drug paraphernalia,

Tarvin was booked into the Washington Parish jail on possession of illegal drugs with intent to distribute, possession of drug paraphernalia and a traffic offense.

“Drugs, drugs, drugs,” stated Sheriff Randy Seal. “It seems almost daily someone is arrested on charges involving illegal drugs. Why is our jail full? It is because our officers are constantly working on our behalf and making arrests of those who flagrantly violate the laws of the State of Louisiana. We are so fortunate to have men and women of integrity who work hard to uphold our laws.”
