Washington Parish Sheriff Randy Seal advises that, for the past two years, the WPSO and DEA have conducted a joint investigation into illegal drug sales in Washington Parish. Several arrests have been made within the past couple of months.
“We have a great partnership with federal agents in our local Drug Enforcement Administration office,” stated Sheriff Randy Seal. “By combining resources and personnel, our two agencies are able to identify and arrest drug dealers throughout the parish. These arrests do not signal the end of the investigation. More arrests can be expected as the investigation continues. My thanks to all officers who risk their lives daily as they protect law-abiding citizens of our parish.”
