Kevin Michael Crain

July 28, 1975 - March 9, 2021

Kevin Michael Crain, age 45 and a resident of Saint Francisville, died Tuesday night March 9, 2021 at St. Frances Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria. He was the pipe fabrication manager for Cajun Industries for the last several years. Kevin was a well-respected and loved coworker that had also worked with Volk’s Construction for many years. He loved hunting, fishing and spending time in the outdoors, especially working to prepare his property for his future home. Kevin loved to cook out and grill Bar-B-Que several nights a week. He never met a stranger and he cherished the time spent with his girls and family.

Survived by: Daughter: Kynadi Crain; Fiance: Melissa Jarreau and her daughters Olivia and Abby of St. Francisville; Father and Step-Mother: Royce and Mary Crain of Thomas; Mother: Betty Riley Crain of Prairieville; Brothers and Sisters in law: Christopher and Amy Crain of Denham Springs, Brandon and Nicole Crain of the Barker’s Corner Community; Nephews and a Niece: Bradley Crain, Lenora Crain, Bronwyn Crain, Brighton Crain; Aunts and Uncles: Linda and Morris Day, Randy Riley, Ricky Riley, Norman Crain, Hezzie Eugene Crain, Billy and Sharon Crain, Bobby and Ann Crain; Also numerous cousins and many dear friends.

He was preceded in death by grandparents Roscoe and Beatrice Riley, grandmother Pauline Crain Kennedy, grandfather Hezzie Bill Crain and other family members.

Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home (1109 Bene Street, Franklinton) on Sunday March 14th from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm and after 9:00 am on Monday. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 11:00 am Monday with Rev. Harold Gaddy officiating. Burial will follow in the War Crain Cemetery.
