Billie Sue Foy Fricke

December 12, 1936 - February 25, 2021

Billie Sue Foy Fricke, age 84 and a resident of the Stoney Point Community, died early Thursday morning February 25, 2021 at her home following a lengthy illness. Sue worked most of her life, alongside her family, on their dairy farm. She was a longtime member of Bethel Baptist Church that served in the church nursery for many years, sang in the church choir and even worked as the custodian for a time. She loved walking around her property as often as she could and liked to complete word search puzzles and collect books. Sue enjoyed crocheting and needle-point.

Survived by: Daughter and Son in law: Deborah and Kenneth Seal of Stoney Point; Son and Daughter in law: Donald E. and Julie Fricke of Stoney Point; Grandchildren and a Spouse: Courtney Seal Taylor and Joshua Cole Taylor, Tia Taylor; Great-grandchildren: Maddox Cole Taylor, Eli Williams Taylor, Judith Lee Oliver, Vivian Marshall; Brother and Sister in law: A.W. Foy, Jr. and Sally Foy of Franklinton; Brothers in law and Sisters in law: Dudley and Helen Fricke of Baton Rouge, Nell and Lawrence Sylvest of Franklinton; Also numerous nieces, nephews and other family members

She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years S.E. “Pete” Fricke, recently by grandson Matthew Seal, parents A.W. Foy, Sr. and Hattie Bankston Foy, sisters Christine Wood, Katherine Foy, Dorothy Hunderup, Edith Fisher and other family members.

Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home Sunday February 28th from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 2:00 pm Sunday with Rev. Joe Kelly officiating. Burial will follow in the Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family wishes to express a sincere thank you to the staff of Community Care Hospice for their loving care and support over the last several months.
