Washington Parish 4-H has announced the 1st Annual Washington Parish Watermelon Growing Contest.
Washington Parish is known for our watermelons and this contest is an opportunity for 4-H members to learn how to grow them, keep records, and have a little fun competition with each other.
Participants will be provided seeds, growing guides, and support along the way.
From planting seed until harvest and weigh-in will be 100 days: April 1 - July 10
Registration is now open and will close Friday, February 19, 2021
Seeds will be sent out to everyone after registration is closed.
