Ada Magee

June 16, 1934 - January 24, 2021

Ada Magee passed away on January 24, 2021 at the Pearl River County Nursing Home in Poplarville, MS.

She was born in Bogalusa, LA on June 16, 1934 and was a lifelong resident of Bogalusa, LA. She was also a member of Superior Avenue Baptist Church. She worked for the City of Bogalusa for many years where she retired. She loved her hometown. She loved spending time with family and friends.

She is survived by her daughter, Kim (Jason) Mathis; four grandchildren Misty McNabb, Brooke (Eli) Rowell, Ashley (AJ) Smith, Morgan (Cody) Spears; and ten great grandchildren, Cole, Carter, & Carleebeth Rowell, Myles, Eva Murray, & Bishop McNabb, Avery, Sutton, & Scout Smith, and Dalton Spears.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Philip E. Magee; her son, Philip E. Magee II; her mother, Alice Sheridan; and her two brothers, Donald (D.B.) Sheridan and Alec Sheridan.

Visitation will be at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. with the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Clay Norwood officiating.
