Clenard Pigott

June 07, 1963 - January 06, 2021

And God shall wipe all tears from their eyes: and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.  Revelation 21:4

On Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at the Riverside Medical Center, the Lord in his infinite wisdom called Brother Clenard Pigott home.  He was  born June 7, 1963 to the late Clinton and Katherine Pigott.  Clenard was married to his high school sweetheart, Mrs. Hilda Magee Pigott.    He had a bubbly personality and love to talk.  He never met a stranger and left a lasting impression on everyone he met.  His passion and occupation were driving trucks across country until his health begin to fail him.

Clenard joined Water Valley Church of God in Christ at an early age and remained until his untimely death.  Later in life he accepted the Lord as his Lord and Savior.  and was  excited about his "Brotherhood" bible study session.  He had no problem sharing the word with everyone he encountered.  He touched the lives of so many people (young and old) and will be missed dearly.

Clenard leaves to cherish his memories, his loving wife; Hilda M. Pigott, one daughter-Erica Magee of Franklinton LA, Five sons; Clinton (Ashley) Magee of Baker LA, Victor Magee of Franklinton LA, Kevin Pigott of Ponchatoula, LA Clendo (Tokisha) Lewis of Franklinton LA, Taurus Lewis Of Tylertown MS, Seven grandchildren: LA Precious, Fredrick, Jason, Clinton Jr., Victor Jr., DeKhiren and Prochorus, a goddaughter whom he loved as his own, Nziya Lewis, three sisters; Priscilla Pigott of Franklinton LA, Lucittia Pigott of Bogalusa LA, and Lottie Bridges of Tylertown, MS, Three brothers Divit Pigott of Gulfport MS, Lacus Pigott of Franklinton LA  and Willie Fortenberry of Tylertown MS, two special nephews (Terrance Pigott of Douglasville GA, and Devonte Pigott of Gulfport MS.) and two special nieces; (Tiffany Handy ), both of Franklinton Cherishing her memories also are his brother and sister-in-laws- Gary Magee, Linda Magee, Ponda Magee, Milton Magee, Ricky Magee, Waynard Magee, Willie Lee, J.W. Lee and Junior Lee, along with a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncle, cousins, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clinton and Katherine Pigott, one brother Roland Pigott, his father and mother-in-law Charles and LaVern Magee, maternal and paternal grandparents and many uncles, aunts and cousins. 

The Funeral Service will be January 9, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Cook Richmond Funeral Home of Franklinton, La.
