Sidney "Butch" Albert Blakeman, Jr.
August 30, 1943 - January 7, 2021
Sidney "Butch" Albert Blakeman, Jr., age 77 and a resident of Harvey died at 1:06 PM Thursday, January 7, 2021 at his residence. He was a route salesman for many years. He also was a New Orleans Police Officer. He enjoyed fishing and going to the firing range. He also was a photographer. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with his great grandchild.
Survived by: Wife: Sharon Booty Blakeman; 4 Daughters and sons in law: Annie and Mike Caldwell, Deanne Blakeman, Christy and Jason Larousse, Sherry Richard; 5 Grandchildren; 3 Great grandchildren
He was preceded in death by his parents Sidney Blakeman, Sr. and Myrtle Jensen Blakeman.
Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home Monday, January 11, 2021 from 9 am until 11 am. A funeral service will be held at 11 am in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Cecil Burch officiating. Burial will follow in the San Pedro Church Cemetery.
