Terry Lane Watson

July 15, 1980 - October 1, 2020

Terry Lane Watson, age 40 and a resident of Franklinton died Thursday afternoon October 1, 2020 at North Oaks Medical Center in Hammond. He was a graduate of Franklinton High School who then worked off-shore for Island Operating for many years. Terry enjoyed working off-shore and was always a hard worker. He loved hunting, fishing and the outdoors. Terry also enjoyed tinkering with things around the house and garage. He was a kind-hearted, humble, people person to his friends and folks that he met. He will be missed dearly by his family and all those that knew him.

Survived by: Parents: Rocky and Linda Watson of Franklinton; Brother: Jason Hymel; Nephew: Wyatt Lane Watson; Uncles and Aunts: Danny and Janet Carter, Suzette Carter, John and Carolyn Watson, Rusty Watson; Cousins: Stacey Carter Starnes, Robin Carter Graham, Joseph Carter, John Scott Watson; Also numerous other family members and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his brother Waylon Watson, sister Amanda Kay Watson, grandparents Robert Carter, Sr. and Elizabeth Carter, Doyle and Ora Watson, uncle Robert Carter, Jr. and cousin Christopher Watson.

A private graveside funeral service was held for his family in the Poplarhead Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.
