Clarence Douglas Freeman

January 8, 1937 - October 11, 2020

Clarence Douglas Freeman, age 83 and a resident of Pine, died late Sunday night October 11, 2020 at his home. He was retired after a long career with South Central Bell. Clarence was an avid reader that enjoyed listening to music and playing the piano as a young man. He loved taking his family camping and boating and they spent many long weekends visiting the Ozark Mountains. Clarence was very civic-minded and always voted and he made sure his family and others also went to the polls at each opportunity. He spent his later years taking care of and spoiling his beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Survived by: 4 Sons: Douglas Freeman, Robert Freeman, Bryan Freeman, Rusty Freeman; Grandchildren and Spouses: Lee and Emily Freeman, Robin and Tony Duncan, Katie Freeman, Parker Freeman, Regan and James Dean, Jacob Freeman, Destin Freeman, Luke Freeman, Lilly Freeman, Holly Freeman, Samuel Simmons, Caleb Freeman; Great-grandchildren: Kage Freeman, Tripp Freeman, Nick Duncan, Nate Duncan, Reese Duncan, Rhett Duncan, Bently Bradford, Ellie Bradford, Jackson Freeman, Russell Williams, Emilee Williams, Bryson Freeman, Kerri Freeman, Andrew Frieslander; Also numerous other family members

He was preceded in death by his daughter Melissa Freeman Simmons

A graveside funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Friday in the Harmony Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery with Bro. Brad Cooper officiating.

Pallbearers are his 4 sons as well as grandsons Caleb Freeman and Samuel Simmons
