The Franklinton Firemens Association will be selling Jambalaya dinners Saturday (August 24, 2019) at noon at the Fire Station. The address is 415 11th Avenue next door to the Police Department and across the street from Creel Insurance.
They will have approximately 150 plates that will be sold outside of advance ticket sales. Please come out and support your Franklinton Firemen. Plates are $8.00 each. Jambalaya, corn, green beans, bread and cake. All monies produced from these sales will go to the Firemens Association for needed equipment purchases.
The station will be open for the public if you wish to come in to cool off and to eat. Or just bring the kids and let them see the fire trucks. Interested in becoming a volunteer? They will answer any questions or concerns you may have as well as provide you an application if you wish to join.
