Washington Parish Government Was "Storm Ready"

Sandbags were filled and distributed, Red Cross shelters were opened, the Emergency Operations Center was opened, and all resources were made ready. The severe threats from the storm did not materialize. But the readiness of our parish government to minimize threats to the safety and property of residents was demonstrated.
