August 12, 1942 - June 19, 2019
Estella Speights was born on August 12, 1942 in Sandy Hook, MS to the late Will Harry and late Maudell Peters. She departed this life Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at 76 years of age at Our Lady of Angels Hospital in Bogalusa, LA.
She is survived by one brother, William (Geraldine) Harry of Las Vegas; two sisters, Gloria (Bubba) Peters and Willena Jones of Bogalusa, LA; two daughters, Sylvia Henry and MaKayla Speights of Bogalusa, LA; one son, Allen (Stank) Henry, III, all of Bogalusa, LA; four grandchildren, Shaun McGowan, Chequietta Henry, Irene (Chris) Harris and Williams McGowan all of Bogalusa, LA. Seventeen great-grandchildren, Keke, ReShard, Jazz, Dallas, Daysha, Tayta Red, Mississippi, Round Head, Bright Eye, Kunt, Harmonee, Bob Head, Pig, Mae, William, Meme and nine great-great grandchildren, Rjay, TJ, Sincere, Ayana, Eithan, Miracle, Alante, Yoshi and Precious. Also other kids that she loved as her own; Pune, Minkey, John, Sam, Stank, Sylvia, Sly, Whit, Lee, Lee, Gard and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Will Harry, mother, Maudell Peters, one sister one great-granddaughter Melodies McGowan and one great-great grandchild.
The visitation will be held, Friday, June 28, 2019 from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Crain and Sons Funeral Home, 803 East Third Street, Bogalusa, LA., and family hour will be from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held Saturday, June 29, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. also at Crain and Sons Funeral Home with Elder Victor Robinson, Officiating.
