JM Rankin passed away on Monday, October 15, 2018, at Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Franklinton, LA., at the age of 77. He was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Bogalusa, LA.
JM is survived by his loving spouse Paulette Thomas Rankin of Bogalusa, LA. One son Johnny Ray Rankin and his wife Wendy of Slidell, LA. One daughter Vicky Jurado of Metairie, LA. One sister Mary Ethel Rushing of Salem, MS. He is also survived by four grandchildren Sara Nicole Rankin, Alexis Sierra Rankin, Aleyha Savanah Rankin and Kyle Autrey Rankin. Also numerous nieces and nephews and other loving family members and friends.
Visitation is set to be at Brown-McGehee Funeral Home in Bogalusa on October 17, 2018 from 11 am to 1 pm, followed by the Funeral Service.
Interment will be at Mt. Pleasant Church Cemetery.
