Kyle "Cowboy" McMillan
March 27, 1978 - October 14, 2018



Richard Kyle "Cowboy" McMillan, age 40 and a resident of Franklinton, died Sunday morning October 14, 2018. He was a native of Bogalusa born on March 27, 1978. He enjoyed playing football and was formerly a member of the Pine High School Raider football team. Kyle also loved horseback riding and listening to country music, with a couple of his favorite artists being Jamey Johnson and Miranda Lambert. He loved big rigs and was a longtime truck driver, currently driving for Lloyd’s Trucking, where his CB handle was Cowboy. Kyle always enjoyed spending time with his family and adored his young granddaughter.

Survived by: 3 Daughters: Taylor Branch of Pine, Taylor McMillan of Bogalusa, Kyra McMillan of Pine; Granddaughter: Lylianna McMillan; Mother: Cynthia Thomas Amacker of Franklinton; Brother and Sister in law: Micah and Angela Hathorne of Sun; Sister and Brother in law: Crystal and Shane Puissegur of Bush; Former Wife and Special Friend: Mona McMillan Woodward; Special Uncle: Kenneth Ray Jenkins; Special Cousins: Virgil Claude Martin, Christal Roseanne Keaton; Also numerous other family members and many friends

He was preceded in death by his father Richard Arnold Hathorne, a brother James Dustin Jones, maternal grandparents Claude and Jimmie Rose Mulford, paternal grandmother Myra Nell Pounds.

Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home Wednesday October 17th from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm and after 10:00 am on Thursday. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 2:00 pm Thursday with Bro. Scottie Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in the Crain’s Creek Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.
