Thomas Doyle Penny passed away on Sept. 23, 2018 at St. Tammany Parish Hospital in Covington La. at the age of 79. He was a resident of Bogalusa La., and member of Annunciation Catholic Church. He retired from the Box Plant here in Bogalusa La.
He is survived by two sons, Matthew Penny “Wanda” of Bogalusa La, and Mark Elloitt Penny “Amy” of Bogalusa La. One brother Charles Edward Penny of Bogalusa La. One half sister Carolyn Chatman of Bogalusa. Grandchildren Cameron Penny, Madison Penny Wascom, Seth Penny, Sydney Penny, Grace Penny. One great-grandson Connor Penny.
He is preceded in death by his wife June Mixon Penny, his parents Osa and Hazel Penny, brother Osa Penny III, and sister Meriam Crowe.
Visitation will be in the chapel of Brown McGehee Funeral Home on Wednesday Sept. 26, 2018 from 10 a.m. until time for service in the chapel at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Ponemah Cemetery. Father Pat Wattigny will officiate.
