Dianne Smith
May 11, 1957 - May 20, 2018



Patsy Dianne Smith, age 61 and a resident of Pine, died Sunday morning May 20, 2018 at her home. Dianne worked alongside her family in the parts department of Smith & Smith, Inc. for many years. She enjoyed spending time outdoors and liked to watch the beautiful cardinals that fed from her backyard feeders each day. Dianne liked tending to her flowers and enjoyed making crafts. She also loved drinking her favorite Dr. Pepper. She always enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and family.
Survived by: 2 Daughters and a Son in law: Jessica Dunham of Franklinton, Johanna and Dustin Nielson of Pine; Grandchildren: Colton Nielson, Rhett Nielson both of Pine; Mother: Elaine Crain Smith of Pine; 3 Brothers and Sisters in law: Donnie Smith of Franklinton, Jeff and Loretta Smith, Rusty and Tiffany Smith all of Pine; Also numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her father Leo Pat Smith and Jimmy Wilson Thomas, Sr.
Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home Tuesday May 22nd from 5 pm until 9 pm and after 10 am on Wednesday. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 2 pm Wednesday with Eld. Donnie Broome and Eld. Duane Ball officiating. Burial will follow in the Seal Cemetery at Stateline.
