Slidell Police arrested Don Barrington (28) of Madisonville last Friday (April 13, 2018) for the armed robberies of two gas stations on Christmas night.Barrington reportedly entered an Exxon store, brandished a knife, and demanded money. He got an undisclosed amount of cash and fled. Shortly afterwards, Barrington reportedly entered a Shell store and again demanded clash and fled after getting an undisclosed amount of cash.
Barrington was developed as a primary suspect after a Crimestoppers tip named Barrington as the robber. Investigators were able to positively link Barrington to the robberies and secured warrants for his arrest.
Barrington’s arrest was featured on the A&E television show, Live PD.
