Bogalusa Woman Charged with Drive-By Shooting

Yesterday (April 17, 2018), Bogalusa Police Department officers responded to the 500 block of
Avenue H due to a call about gunshots being fired. Upon the officer’s arrival, the female victim stated that Alexandria Brown (26) of Bogalusa drove to the victim's residence and started a confrontation. Brown stayed in her vehicle, pointed a pistol and fired one shot at the victim who was standing approximately twenty feet away.  The victim ran inside her residence and escaped injury.
The victim had previously filed a protective order against Brown. A search warrant was obtained on the residence of Alexandria Brown. BPD officers located Brown hiding in a bedroom of the residence and she was arrested on the charges of Assault By Drive By Shooting, Illegal Use Of Weapons, Aggravated Assault and Violation of a Protective Order.
