Robert Roy Nichols, Jr.
November 4, 1926 - February 25, 2018
Robert Roy Nichols Jr. age 91 passed away February 25, 2018 at Southeast Louisiana Veterans Home in Reserve La. Robert retired from the Bogalusa Community Medical Center where he worked as a Lab Technician. He is a US Navy Veteran serving in during WW II and the Korean Conflict. He was a lifetime member of Plainview Baptist Church.
He is survived by one brother John Nichols of Bogalusa, La. He is preceded in death by his parents Robert Roy Nichols Sr. and Bevie Mizell Nichols. Two sisters Kathleen Mizell and Ella Dee Bowman.
Visitation will be held in the chapel of Brown McGehee Funeral on Thursday March 1, 2018 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Visitation will continue on Friday at Plainview Baptist Church from 9 a.m. until time for services at 11 a.m. Burial will be in the church cemetery with military rites conducted by American Legion Post #24. Rev. Scott Breland and Rev. Keith Sheridan will officiate.
