Sunday morning (February 18, 2018), Troopers from Louisiana State Police Troop L investigated a fatal motorcycle crash on LA 450 north of LA 10 in Washington Parish that claimed the life of Matthew A. Bilello (47) of Franklinton.Troopers to determined that the crash occurred as Bilello was riding a 2003 Harley Davidson motorcycle northbound on LA 450 and failed to negotiate a left-hand curve. The motorcycle traveled off the right side of the roadway, Bilello was ejected from the motorcycle and struck a culvert.
Impairment is not considered as a contributing factor in this crash.
