Franklinton Man ID'd in Theft of Fireman's Truck

After a lengthy investigation, Slidell Police report they have identified Zarius Brown (30) of Franklinton as the one who stole a Slidell fireman's truck last November.
On November 8, 2017, Slidell Police responded to St. Tammany Fire District #1, Station 13, after a fireman, returning from a call for service, came back to discover his personal truck stolen from in front of the fire station. The truck was a 2006 white Ford F-250, FX4 with black running boards and chrome exhaust pipes. The truck has a unique license plate, which is a professional firefighter’s plate (#3247).
Brown was later found to be selling parts of the stolen truck on social media sites. Digital forensics was reportedly able to positively link Brown to the theft. Unfortunately, the truck has never been recovered, and is believed to have been broken down into several different parts and pieces.
Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Zarius Brown is asked to contact the Slidell Police Department at 985-646-6174, or call your local law enforcement agency. Brown is known to frequent the Hammond and Franklinton area.
