SAMUEL JEFFERSON JERRELL, SR., age 85 and a resident of Thomas, died Thursday, December 7, 2017 at his residence. He was a mechanic for many years.
Survived by: Wife: Mary S. Jerrell of Thomas; Daughter: Catherine Jerrell of Thomas; 4 Sons: Samuel J. Jerrell, Jr. of Thomas, Richard Dale Jerrell of Bush, Charlie Jerrell of Thomas, James Richard Jerrell of Allentown, PA; 16 Grandchildren; Numerous great grandchildren
He was preceded in death by a daughter Dorothy Jerrell, his parents Louis and Maggie Moak Jerrell, a sister Floa Mae Cotton and a brother Richard Brumfield.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at New Beginnings Baptist Church with Rev. Keith Branch officiating,
