Bedwell Sworn in as Washington Parish Councilman

Phillipp Bedwell was administered the Oath of Office Monday evening (November 20, 2017) by District Judge-Elect Billy Burris at the meeting of the Washington Parish Council.
Bedwell was appointed by the Council on November 6, 2017 to fill the vacant seat in District 5, a vacancy created when Councilman Pete Thomas resigned due to losing his house to a fire and relocated out of the district. The District includes the Stateline area, Thomas, Pine, Ben’s Ford and the area around the Bogalusa Library and YMCA.
