SPD Looking for Man who Chased, Rammed Car

Slidell Police are looking for Kevin Spann (35), who is responsible for violently ramming his estranged girlfriend’s vehicle, causing her to crash Wednesday (July 19, 2017) morning around 10:00 am.
Witnesses observed a 2002 silver Chevrolet Cavalier purposely ramming another vehicle on Gause Boulevard, causing it to spin out of control and crash. When police arrived, they located an injured female inside of the crashed vehicle. The woman told police that her estranged boyfriend, Kevin Spann, was angry at her, chased her down Gause Boulevard, and continuously rammed her vehicle until she crashed. Witnesses say that Spann fled the area, heading towards Lacombe.
Investigators obtained an arrest warrant for Spann for aggravated assault. Spann is believed to be in the Slidell or Lacombe area. Spann is 5’9” tall, approximately 210 pounds, and has a tattoo on his left forearm that says “K Dog”. The Chevrolet Cavalier is missing the drivers-side rearview mirror.
Anyone knowing the whereabouts of Kevin Spann is asked to call the Slidell Police Department at 985-643-3131 or 911.
