The Covington Police Department is seeking the public’s help locating Kawon Moore (20) of Covington, wanted for Aggravated Second Degree Battery stemming from an attack near the intersection of W. 28th Avenue and N. Polk Street in Covington on Sunday (July 2, 2017) at about 10:20 pm.Moore reportedly struck the victim several times, knocking him to the ground, and kicked him in the head. While attacking the victim, Moore reportedly had an object in one hand, believed to be a firearm, and made reference to killing the victim.
The victim suffered loss of consciousness and several injuries, including multiple facial fractures. The victim was treated at an area hospital.
If you see Moore, do not approach him, he is considered armed and dangerous. Callers may remain anonymous and could receive a cash reward of up to $2,500.
