Detectives from the Louisiana State Police Special Victims Unit
with assistance from the FBI New Orleans Division Child Exploitation Task Force,
Homeland Security Investigations, Hammond Police Department, and the Louisiana
Attorney General’s Office have arrested Nicholas Paul Duvic (23) of Hammond on
300 counts of Possession of Child Pornography, 300 counts of Distribution of
Child Pornography, 1 count of Production of Child Pornography under 13 years
old, and 24 counts of Video Voyeurism. He is currently being held on a bond of
over $70 million.
The
undercover operation that began in April resulted in a search warrant executed
June 22, 2017 at a residence in Hammond and Duvic's arrest. During the search,
investigators located numerous videos created by Duvic which had been filmed in
various public and private locations he had access to in the Hammond
area.
Investigators are now moving forward is to identify and notify potential victims. Due to the sensitivity of the investigation no further information will be released at this time.
