Warrants Issued in Tuesday Shooting in Bogalusa

Bogalusa Police Department Public Information Officer Percy Knight advises that Tuesday (May 2, 2017 ) night at 10:42 PM the Bogalusa Police Department received a call about a person being shot behind O'Neil Apartments located on E. 6th St. in Bogalusa.
The male victim (52) stated that he and some other people were playing dominos and cards when a female, later identified as Adrian Ishman (31), wanted to join the domino game. When the victim told Ishman "No", she turned the card table over and an argument ensued. A male subject, identified as JaMichael Roberts (19), who was with Ishman, joined the argument and produced a handgun. Roberts shot the victim once in the upper left torso with a 9 millimeter handgun.
The victim was transported by ambulance to Our Lady Of Angles Hospital were he was treated and released.
A warrant has been issued for Ja'Michael Roberts for Attempted First Degree Murder.  A warrant was also issued for Adrian Ishman for Accessory after the fact to Attempted First Degree Murder.
