Carolyn Burch Easley
October 22, 1933 - March 24, 2017


Carolyn Burch Easley, a native of Bluff Creek and resident of Kentwood passed away at 5:35 AM on Friday, March 24, 2017 at her home. She was born October 22, 1933 in Bluff Creek and was 83 years of age. She was a member of New Zion Baptist Church and was a retired employee of the State of Louisiana.
She is survived by her sons, Kirk Easley and wife, Judy, and Dean Easley and wife, Vickie; daughters, Cele Crawford and husband, Bruce, Gaye Glass and husband, Tim, and Lyne Creel and husband, Randy; 17 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; brother, James “Sonny” Burch and wife, Jerre; and sisters, Barbara Dell McDaniel, Jane Duncan and husband, Donald, Grace Helen Williams and husband, Martin, Cheryl Scott and husband, Sidney, and Beverly Easley and husband, Lester.
Preceded in death by  her husband, Clayton F. Easley; grandson, Travis Clayton Easley; parents, Clifton Percy and Rena Chaney Burch; brothers, John “Jack” Burch, Sr., Donald Ray Burch and Percy Dean Burch; and her brother in law, Riley McDaniel.
Visitation at New Zion Baptist Church  from 6 PM until 9 PM on Monday and from 9 AM until religious services at 11 AM on Tuesday, March 28, 2017. Services conducted by Dr. Danny Smith. Interment New Zion Cemetery, Kentwood.
