Murder Suspect of McComb Man Caught in Wyoming

Jeremy McElvin, one of four suspects accused of killing Cort Gatlin (29) of McComb in the summer of 2016, was arrested in Sheridan, WY on January 18, 2017. He is awaiting an extradition hearing and will be transported back to Pike County, Mississippi. PCSO credits Sheridan Police Department and the U.S. Marshal's Task Force with McElvin's apprehension. The other three suspects were  Anthony J. Dauden, Bridget Dillon, and Exzavion Reed.
Dauden has previously told authorities how the four obtained a gun, talked Gatlin into getting into a car, drove to a residence on Summit Holmesville Road, beat Gatlin, taped his hands and mouth, and drove to Alford's Bridge.  Dauden said McElvin then shot Gatlin in the neck three times.
