Sheriff Randy “Country” Seal announces the promotion of veteran officer, Terry Harris to Lieutenant for Criminal Patrol Shift D. Terry replaces retiring officer, Lt Ernie Corkern.
Lt. Harris is a native of Franklinton and a graduate of Franklinton High School and the Slidell Regional Police Academy. Lt. Harris began his career with the Washington Parish Sheriff’s Office in 2005 and holds numerous professional law enforcement certificates.
“Terry brings a wealth of experience, good judgment and a genuine passion for helping people. It is an honor to promote such a passionate and dedicated law enforcement officer.” said Sheriff Seal.
