Doris Phillips Miley

November 19, 1934 - January 1, 2021

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our dear Mother and Grandmother, Doris Phillips Miley, on January 1, 2021 at Lakeview Regional Medical Center, at the age of 86. She was a longtime member of Poplarhead Missionary Baptist Church. She will be missed by all those at the Angie Auction, especially her homemade cakes, and those at the garage sales and flea markets she often attended, and of course her buddies at Sugar Shack in Franklinton.

Survived by: 4 Children and Spouses: Kenny Miley of Greenwell Springs, Veronica and Walter O’Berry of Bogalusa, Randall Miley of Pine, Brenda and Kendall Parker of Franklinton; Grandchildren and a Spouse: Kevin Moore, Chris Miley both of Bogalusa, Jody Miley of Franklinton, Ashley Parker Thomas and Justin Thomas of Franklinton, Kimberly Miley of Greenwell Springs; Great-grandchildren and a Spouse: Sierra Miley, Alyssa Moore Busby and Jordan Busby, Kinzley Moore, Madison Thomas, Parker Thomas; Brother and Sister in law: Daniel and Wilda Phillips of Bogalusa; Sisters in law: Lena Mae Temples of Picayune, MS, Betty Rose Phillips of Tylertown, MS; Special Niece and loafing buddy: Alice Miley; Also numerous other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home Saturday January 9th from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 2:00 pm Saturday with her pastor Eld. Edward Penton officiating. Burial will follow in the Miley Cemetery on Seven Mile Road.

Pallbearers are grandsons Kevin Moore, Chris Miley, Jody Miley, Justin Thomas and special friends Chad Luper, Damon Luper

Covid guidelines and restrictions will be followed by all who attend.
