Kenneth Wayne Haley

October 12, 1952 - October 8, 2020

Kenneth Wayne Haley, age 67 and a longtime resident of Franklinton, passed away Thursday October 8, 2020 at his home. He was well known as K.W. or Kenny Wayne. He worked as an auto mechanic, following in his daddy’s footsteps, for over 50 years. Kenny enjoyed riding around his community visiting with his friends and stopping by The Bridge Store to visit.

Survived by: Son and Daughter in law: Tommy and Aimee Haley; 4 Daughters: Lisa Haley of Ethel, LA, Kimberly Haley of Franklinton, Nikki Crain of New Orleans, Tori Waldrop of Franklinton; 17 Grandchildren; 12 Great-grandchildren; 2 Sisters and Brother in law: Carolyn and Adney Whaley of Franklinton, Linda Kay Smith of North Carolina; Special Aunts and Uncle: Melba Haley of Denham Springs, Glynn and Gloria Haley of Franklinton; Special Friends: John and Joyce Bienvenu, Alton and Vicki Bankston, James Woodward, Albert Magee, Preston and Cathy Haley all of Franklinton; Also numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and friends who loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents Elbert Thomas Haley and Wilda Haley Hill, sisters and brothers in law Jean Haley and Terry Graves, Ranee Haley, Walton Dale Smith.

Kenny was laid to rest in the Hays Creek Southern Baptist Church Cemetery. A private family ceremony was held on Sunday October 11th with Rev. Frederick Brumfield sharing words of comfort with scripture and prayer.
