Kenneth Dale Alford

May 22, 1966 - September 20, 2020

Kenneth Dale Alford, age 54 and a resident of the Friendship Baptist Church Community, died Sunday morning September 9, 2020 at Tulane University Hospital after a lengthy illness. Kenny was a longtime truck driver for several companies over the years, most recently for Robert Rawls Trucking, who went by the CB handle “Chopper”. He was a kind person, with a big heart, that would always do what he could to help others in need. Kenny loved spending time with his friends, laughing and having a good time.

Survived by: Daughter: Kadi Alford of Canton, TX; Son and Daughter in law: Timothy Scott Reaves and Brittany Reaves of Flint, TX; Grandchildren: Hayden Dewayne Alford, Layken Elaine Stokes, Kaitlin Gayle Renee Alford, Carson Reaves, Luke Reaves, Leo Reaves; 2 Brothers and Sisters in law: Ronnie and Wendy Alford of Kentwood, Jeff and Tammy Alford and “Rodeo” of Amite; Also numerous nieces, nephews and many dear friends

He was preceded in death by his son Kenneth Dewayne Alford, grandson Jebodiah Alford, parents Bobby Earl Alford and Patricia Morris Alford, and a brother Robert Earl Alford.

Visitation will be at Friendship Baptist Church (62508 Friendship Church Road, Amite) on Thursday September 24th from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm. Following the visitation, a memorial service will be held in the church at 7:00 pm with Sonny Travis officiating.
