“And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.” Revelation 21:4

One we knew and loved stepped across the threshold that we call “death” but, it was only a step into another room, the room of our father’s house. God saw you getting weary, so he did what he thought was best. He came and stood beside you and whispered “come and rest.”

He was a member of Greater Ebenezer Baptist Church and later began attending Greater Salter Chapel AME Church with his wife.  He loved cooking, hunting, going fishing in his boat, doing carpentry work and spending time with his grandkids. He also loved traveling and spending quality time with his wife. He was fun, loving, outgoing, kind hearted, and loved to tell jokes.
