Jan E. Bush

August 29, 1927 - August 22, 2020

On August 22, 2020, Jan E. Bush, a beloved mother, grandmother, and aunt entered into eternal rest after a full life of laughter, joy, and accomplishments. She passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her family members and loved ones.

Her last wishes were to have a private burial surrounded by close family and friends. She will be laid to rest at Isabel Cemetery next to her family.

Jan was born in Isabel, LA on August 29, 1927. She went to Enon High School and graduated in 1944. She worked for Louisiana Power and Light, now known as Entergy, for over 36 years where she retired. She was dedicated to not only her job, but her family was her life. She lived for her family. Always wanting the best for them. She took care of her mother in her last years and provided portals of prayer to the local nursing home on a regular basis. She will be dearly missed by all.

Jan is preceded in death by her parents, Marjorie and Walter Bush, and her three siblings. Her son, Mike Walker and granddaughter, Christina Walker.
