Full Agenda for Last Meeting of Current Washington Parish Council

When the they meet Monday evening (December 16, 2019), the Washington Parish Council will take
up a full agenda of items. This will be the last meeting of the current Council. The new Council will be composed of two returning members: Reginald McMasters (District 6) and Rusty Fornea (District 5) and five new members: Joe Culpepper (District 1), Shawn Rice (District 2), Kim Wagner (District 3), Clark Harry (District 4), and Carley King (District 7).

The Agenda includes Public Hearings on four Ordinances. Following the Public Hearings, the Council will approve the 2020 meeting schedule, vote on four Ordinances, introduce one Ordinance, and vote on one Resolution. They will also hear from the public during Public Participation and receive the President's Report from recently reelected Parish President Richard Thomas.

Public Hearing – Ordinance No. 19-658 - An ordinance providing per diem compensation for commissioners of the Washington Parish Planning Commission; revising the number of commissioners; and providing requirements of commissioners.

Public Hearing – Ordinance No. 19-659 - An ordinance to amend compiled ordinances of the Washington Parish Alcohol Policy.
