Reginald Bernard "Peter" Anders
September 04, 1962 - October 17, 2019



“He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.” Revelations 21:4

Reginald “Peter” Anders was born September 4, 1962 to the late Willean Quinn Anders and Mizell Butler. He departed from his earthly house to his home in glory at the age of 57, on Thursday, October 17, 2019 at North Oak Hospital in Hammond, LA.

He leaves to mourn his passing one daughter, Regeine Anders of Baton Rouge, LA; four daughters in love, Tiereny and Tiara Mitchell of Baton Rouge, LA and LaToya and LaTonya Hutchinson of Bogalusa, LA; three brothers Charles Anders and Clifton (Debra) Anders of New Orleans, LA and Adrian Butler of Bogalusa, LA; four sisters, Delores Quinn of Shreveport, LA, Connie “Denise” (Mitchael) Martin, Sr. of Bogalusa, LA, Shelia Anders of Bogalusa, LA, Diana Anders of New Orleans, LA; seven grandchildren, one great grandchild, and a host of other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Willean Quinn Anders and Mizell Butler; step-mother, Rose Mary Butler; one daughter, Mona Lisa Varnado; two brothers, Michael Butler and Donald Robinson; two sisters, Jeanette and Linda Butler.

Visitation will be held at Crain and Sons Funeral Home of Bogalusa, LA from 2:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M Friday, November 1, 2019 and on Saturday, November 2, 2019 from 9:00 A.M. until the time of Service at First Church of God in Christ Bogalusa, LA at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Linza R. Cotton, officiating.

Crain and Sons Funeral Home – Bogalusa in charge of arrangements.
