Jerry Robinson, Sr. was born April 5, 1949 to the late Simon and Lila Harry Robinson in Angie Louisiana. He passed away on August 23, 2019 at his residence in Angie, Louisiana at 70 years of age.
He is survived by his wife Gayle Robinson; four brothers, Danny Lee Robinson (Debra) of Angie, Louisiana, Wallace Robinson of Kileen, Texas, Andre Robinson Of Clarksville, Tennessee, and Arisca Hampton of North Carolina; three sisters, Doris Witherspoon (James) of Clarksville, Tennessee, Beaulah Jackson (Alan) of New Orleans, Louisiana, and Ellen Carter of Bogalusa, Louisiana; two sisters-in-law, Brenda Robinson (Ray) of Grambling, Louisiana, Tracy Robinson (Regynold) of Angie, Louisiana; five grand-children, Tywanda Robinson of Angie, Louisiana, Delisha Washington of Montgomery, Alabama, LeBrandon Robinson of Atlanta, Georgia, Shelton Brumfield of Slidell, Louisiana, and Jerry Robinson, Jr. of Angie, Louisiana.
He was preceded in death by two brothers: Ray Robinson and Regynold Robinson.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 30, 2019 at Crain & Sons Funeral Home – Bogalusa, Louisiana from 2:00PM – 6:00PM. Funeral service will be 12:00PM Saturday, August 31, 2019 at Wesley Ray United Methodist Church located at 30773 Wesley Ray Road, Angie, Louisiana with Rev. Terrence August – Pastor and Rev Lois Smith, Officiating. Interment at the Robinson Cemetery, Angie, Louisiana.
Crain and Sons Funeral Home in Bogalusa are in charge of arrangements.
