Lisa Harvey McClendon
June 14, 1962 - September 19, 2018

Sis. Lisa Yvette Harvey was born June 14, 1962 in Franklinton, LA at McGehee’s Clinic to Norma J. Brumfield and Victor Harvey. Lisa Yvette Harvey McClendon, 56 years old, was called by God to her eternal home on Wednesday, September 19, 2018. She graduated from Franklinton High School and furthered her education at Sullivan Voc Tec in Bogalusa, LA.

Lisa was a member of the Plainview Church of Christ Holiness USA from an early age until her death. She enjoyed her job at church as presenting the power points of the Pastor’s Sermons and sons each Sunday. Sis. Lisa was employed with Heath and Hospital for over 30 years as a medical analyzer II and retired in June 2018.

Sis. Lisa was united in Matrimony to Hulus McClendon on December 8, 1990.

Sis. Lisa leaves to cherish her memories her son, Christopher O’neal (Shaneula) Harvey of Humble, TX to this union one daughter was born, Siniaya Rene Harvey. Lisa was the mother to many other children including her Godchildren, Charity Yvett Spears of Abita Springs, Jeremy Durr of Franklinton, LA, Tee Burton, Shanta “Shernie” Wilson, LeQuisha Wilson, Schwandra “Gayle” Wilson Turner and Adren Wilson of Baton Rouge, LA and grands; four sisters, Cynthia Harvey (Earnest) James of Franklinton, LA, Tia Harvey (Broderick) Wilson of San Bernardino, CA,  and Jeanie W. (Frank) Seymore of Fluke, LA; a host of many other adopted siblings, Felicia Tyson of Franklinton, LA; one uncle, Lucious (Rosena) Brumfield, Jr. of Layfayette, LA; one great uncle, Min. L.M. James of Mt. Hermon, LA; two great aunts, Ora Dee Brumfield of Mt. Hermon, LA and Ora Brumfield of Baton Rouge, LA; three nephews, Marquis (Katrina) Harvey, Matthew and Makhi Wilson (God-son), a great niece, Kennedy Harvey of Arkadelphia, AR; three special brothers, Earl Wilson, Pastor Spears and Leon Roberts; a special Co-Worker, Sister Anna; and a host of many many relatives, friends and adopted family.
She was preceded in death by her father, Victor Harvey; grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Joel Harvey, Mr. & Mrs. Lucious Brumfield, Sr. and a host of family and friends.

Visitation is Tuesday, September 25, 2018 from 2 pm to 6 pm at Crain and Sons Funeral Home in Franklinton. Funeral services are set for 12 pm Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at Plainview Church of Christ Holiness in Mt. Hermon.
