Billy Wardell Cothern passed away on Sunday, August 5, 2018 at Resthaven Living Center in Bogalusa, La at the age of 77. He was born in Bogalusa, LA on October 19, 1940.
He is survived by three sons, Mike (Joy) Cothern of Bogalusa, LA, Craig (Angela) Cothern of Angie, LA, and Bryan (Melanii) Cothern; two brothers, Doy Cothern of Bogalusa, LA and Harold Cothern of Natchez, MS; one sister, Irene Wilson of Kingswood, TX; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Charlotte Hennessy; his parents, Porter and Rosa Cothern; three brothers, Ward Cothern, Walter Cothern, and Sonny Cothern; three sisters, Era Creel, Vera Galloway, and Nora Lee Cates; and one granddaughter, Shanda Cothern.
Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home in Bogalusa, La is in charge of his arrangements. There will be a graveside service at Ponemah Cemetery on Friday, August 10, 2018 at 10:00 A.M.
