Maureen Dudley
February 13, 1958 - December 19, 2017

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.”
Maureen Dudley of Franklinton, LA was born February 13, 1958 to the late Josephine James and Earnest Nixon. Maureen Dudley received her wings on December 19, 2017, at Lakeview Medical Center in Mandeville, LA.
Maureen met the love of her life William Lee Dudley. They were married for 10 joyful years. Maureen enjoyed reading and listening to music she had a passion for cooking and spending time with her family she loved her pet cats as well. Maureen had a good sense of humor.
Our angel Maureen is survived by her husband, William Lee Dudley of Franklinton, LA; 3 children, Michael House, Jermaine House, and Courtney Moore all of St. Paul, MN; 2 stepchildren, Amy Dudley, and Leanna Dudley; 4 sisters, Earnestine Nixon, Tammy Nixon, April, and Valerie; 8 brothers, Ernest Nixon, Daniel Nixon, Joe Lewis Nixon, Sammy Nixon, Kevin Nixon, Michael Nixon, John, and Manky; 8 grandkids, and a host of niece's nephew's cousins and friends.
Maureen is preceded in death by her parents, Josephine James and Earnest Nixon, and one sister, JoAnn Nixon.
Visitation will be at Centinary United Methodist Church in Franklinton on Saturday, December 30, 2017 from 9 am to 11 am followed by a Funeral Service at 11 am.
