Billy Barclay
May 27, 1934 - October 30, 2017



Billy Erwin Barclay, age 83 and a resident of Magnolia, MS, passed away October 30, 2017 at Liberty Community Living Center.
Visitation will be Wednesday, November 1, 2017 from 10:00 AM until services at 11:00 AM at Silver Creek Baptist Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Bro. Donnie Coker and Bro. Pat Bourge will officiate.
Mr. Barclay was born May 27, 1934 in Magnolia, MS, to Andrew and Lucille Erwin Barclay. Mr. Barclay graduated from Progress High School. He was a US Army Veteran. He worked offshore and retired as a crane operator. He was a dairy farmer and the grounds keeper at Jolimar in Summit. He was a lifelong member of Silver Creek Baptist Church.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Mary Flippen Barclay; one brother-in-law, June Burnette.
He is survived by his two sons, Samuel Barclay and wife Sherri of Aberdeen, MS and Grady Barclay of Magnolia, MS; two daughters, Anne Crawford and husband Rod and Maria Barclay all of Magnolia; one sister, Ella Burnette of Tylertown; six grandchildren, Farrah Honea, Mike Stringer, Casie Barclay, Bruce Barclay, Trent Castello and Ashley McKenzie; five great grandchildren, Hunter Wright, Madison Honea, Bryce Caldiero, James McKenzie and Ethan McKenzie Pallbearers will be Bruce Barclay, Jeff Rayborn, John Estess, Ronald Garcia, Tim Barclay, Dave Barclay, Evan Parsons, Artie Faucett, and Randy Flippen. Honorary pallbearers will be Ricky Burnett, Danial Barclay, and Liberty Community Living Center Staff and Hospice Compassus.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Silver Creek Baptist Church.
