Ronda Sylvest Varnado Memorial Award Established
The Washington Parish Council on Monday (July 24, 2017) passed a resolution establishing the Ronda Sylvest Varnado Memorial Award that recognizes acts of heroic and selfless acts and bravery performed in the line of duty. The award is named for the volunteer fireman who recently lost her life responding to an emergency in the Mt. Hermon community.
