Kassie Marie Mizell Benoit 

April 1, 1988 — October 5, 2026

Kassie Marie Mizell Benoit went to be with her Heavenly Father on Monday, October 5, 2026, surrounded by her loving family and her caretakers of Fair City. She was born on April 1, 1988, in the loving town of Bogalusa.

Kassie was a proud mother of one son, Micah Xavier, and one daughter, Kira Sedean. She was preceded in death by her sister, Krystal Ann Mizell, her stepfather, Gregory Lavell Crain, and her grandfather, Philip Glenn Whisler.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Joshua Benoit; her mother, Sedean Marie Jones; her stepfather, John Alan Jones; her father, Mitchell Lloyd Mizell; her grandmother, Barbara Ann Knight; her brother, Aaron Lloyd Mizell (Peggy); and her nephews, Ethan Kent, Nathan Joel, and Ajai; her niece, Kate Grace (Caleb).

Kassie will also be deeply missed by her extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends whose lives were touched by her love and friendship.

Those we love don’t go away; they walk beside us every day. Unseen, unheard, but always near. 

Though our hearts are heavy with loss, we are comforted by the memories we shared and the love she leaves behind. Kassie’s gentle spirit, beautiful smile, and caring heart will remain forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Our lives were blessed by her presence, and we leave her in the loving arms of Jesus. 

Forever loved. Forever missed. Forever remembered.
